About Me

About me and how I have ended up at Hurupaki Primary School!

Hi. My name is Raewyn Tucker and I have been a teacher for over 15 years. 

After deciding to leave my full time classroom teaching position I decided that I would enjoy taking small groups. That is a quick explanation of how I ended up at Hurupaki and  taking  SPRING maths. The idea of this Blog is to give parents and caregivers a general idea of what a SPRING session looks and sounds like.

 Hopefully it will explain how and why your children may be working things out differently  to when you attended school. 

I'm hoping that by blogging our journey that will not only enable us to share our learning with a wider audience, but also enable us to build connections with parents and caregivers.
